We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our food manufacturing facility in Poughkeepsie, New York. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee quality control procedures and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in food science or a related field.

- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control principles, and industry best practices.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as, SQF, HACCP, and GMP.
- Proven experience in delivering training programs, with excellent communication skills.

As a machine operator, you will be responsible for:

The qualified candidate will follow and understand standards for food safety and food quality production reflected in SQF as well as the regulations of major vendors and governmental agencies such as OSHA, FDA, HACCP, while simultaneously training EFCO associates in these standards.
The qualified candidate will act as a quality liaison and must be comfortable interfacing with customers and colleagues regarding all quality matters. Other responsibilities include overseeing external and internal auditing of programs, documentation, and facility security.
