Opportunities
The Quality Assurance Coordinator supports daily food safety and quality activities within our production facility. This entry-level role assists with QA documentation, routine checks, product testing, and GMP monitoring to ensure compliance with EFCO’s food safety and quality programs. This position works closely with the QA team, Production, Sanitation, and other departments to help maintain EFCO’s standards and certifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support EFCO’s food safety and quality initiatives by following all GMPs, SOPs, and safe work practices.
- Assist with daily QA activities, including but not limited to monitoring production processes for compliance with procedures, conducting quality checks, document review and completing records.
- Perform routine plant walkthroughs to monitor cleanliness, GMPs, and safety observations.
- Report any potential contamination, quality concerns, or unusual activity to QA Management immediately.
- Maintain document control for food-safety-related forms, logs, and SOPs.
- Support internal audits by gathering documentation and conducting preliminary observations.
- Participate in food safety and quality training.
- Assist with customer complaints by pulling records and supporting investigations.
- Provide backup support to QA Technicians and perform basic laboratory tasks, including dry mix baking (training provided).
- Perform other QA-related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Professional demeanor, commitment to high standards, and a positive, enthusiastic approach to work.
- Availability to work extra hours and flexible shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal procedures.
- Good leadership, communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to learn new processes and food safety principles.
- Ability to work independently after training.
- Strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn.
- HACCP/ SQF Certification is a plus.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
The QA Coordinator is expected to support EFCO’s commitment to food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance by completing assigned tasks accurately and upholding EFCO’s quality culture.

The Business Development Analyst role supports company growth by combining analytical expertise with sales support, delivering customer-facing insights, managing sales pipelines, collaborating with supply chain, and producing detailed business reports that Assist in analyzing business trends, supporting sales initiatives and contributing to projects that improve processes throughout the organization.
Customer-Facing Insights & Sales Support
- Assist in preparing customer presentations and reports.
- Model revenue for new products and accounts (size opportunities and identify whitespace).
- Manage internal sales pipeline by tracking opportunities through a stage-gate process.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to align timelines and support demand planning accuracy.
- Analyze customer buying patterns, pricing, and SKU mix to inform account strategy.
- Support pricing updates through margin analysis and competitive benchmarking.
Business & Market Analytics
- Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on sales performance, distribution, category trends, and projections.
- Maintain dashboards that track revenue, margin, forecast accuracy, and cost drivers.
- Conduct project-based analysis (SKU rationalization and competitive analysis).
- Build and enhance Excel and Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards to visualize customer and product performance, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Develop templates, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and standardized reporting tools to improve internal sales workflows and responsiveness.
- Stay informed on data analysis trends and tools.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Up to 3 years experience, including related internships, co-ops, or academic projects.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, basic scenario modeling).
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Ideal candidate is proactive problem solver with strong analytical curiosity and confident presenting information to cross-functional teams and customers.
