Sanitation Technician

We’re looking for a reliable Sanitation Technician to join our team and help ensure our production and packaging equipment—and the facility itself—are cleaned and sanitized according to strict food safety standards. This role is vital to maintaining compliance with SSOP, HACCP, FDA, GMP, and other safety and quality regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and facility areas daily
• Follow sanitation schedules (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
• Operate cleaning equipment such as power scrubbers, foamers, and forklifts
• Handle chemical storage safely and maintain cleanliness in chemical areas
• Clean break rooms, restrooms, and common areas as needed
• Complete documentation and report food safety concerns promptly
• Serve as backup to the Sanitation Supervisor when required

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal/written instructions
• Must be able to stand/walk throughout shift and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong understanding of hygiene, safety practices, and GMPs
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and perform physical labor
